Watching the Live Aid clip was an amazing blast from the past as I was watching it then at home waiting for a young lady to come over to pick up her wallet as I had found it and called her. It was filled with cash and as I found out from her she was leaving later that day to visit her parents across the ocean,I did my good deed and the video brings back a great memory

# Ozzy quote "Spinal Tap. I didnt think it was funny, It was like a documentary to me !" Took Time to watch this. Interesting to see this evolution without Bill Ward. Brad Wilk ( prev Rage Against the Machine) taking on the task that is the Brummie Rock Icons Black Sabbath

I have to say I'm of the opinion that No Bill Ward=No Black Sabbath (and this would be true if any of the members were missing) but in saying that, 13 was a cracking album and the drumming on it was absolutely fine. It did feel like something was missing though and that something was Bill but it doesn't take away from the fact that it was a good product.

After RATM, Wilk did some kickass work with Audioslave! so glad to see the originals schoolin' the youngsters. That's how it's done, kids! Ozzie in interview I just saw: ""Spinal Tap..! I didn't think it was funny, I thought it was like a documentry to me! I'm not jokin'!"

Brad was a great choice for 13. Great album. plus that Bill Ward is tough shoes to fill

he's still alive at 65 but doesn't have the stamina to play hard rock drums for 2+ hours a night...plus Ozzy says Bill lost his memory of the old songs (as if Ozzy has room to talk)...

Nothing more appropriate. Black Sabbath = First heavy metal band, RATM = Last heavy metal band. Amazing, gratz on the dream gig Brad.

Wat? There are plenty of other drummers who would easily fit into his place.
