Jarvis Cocker (of the Britpop band PULP) sampled "crimson & clover" from Joan Jett, Who basically made the song a hit in the 80's herself, covered Tommy & The Shondells, who originally composed the song.In my opinion, this whole album is brilliant. (Jarvis)

Not heard this album for ages! lent it to a mate who took it with him travelling in austrailia and lost the bloody thing! Great albuma nd that 1st solo tour was immense. Anyone got big julie to upload. That was a good song too!
