One of the most underrated bands ever, for sure. My buddy Chris and I got the pleasure to sit with the lead singer for maybe 15 minutes. He was so nice. He walked with a cane, so I am not sure what his ailment was. But he hung out, signed CDs, and just chatted. Real nice guy.

Michael Belfer kills it on the bridge! Amazing guitarist. Leftie too! Oddly, the video shows a right handed player... Not the most handsome of the men who actually wrote and played that tune. Wonder if any of us would even know Black Lab were it not for the inherent compositional abilities of this one, understated member? "Corporate Rock Still Sucks." Yep, Kurt Cobain. You said it all. And Michael Belfer, some of us know to credit you where it's due. Crooners come a dime a dozen. Raw talent and creative genius? Decades of professional experience? Not so much.

It's amazing how quickly a song can take you back. I remember listening to this song in the car off a cd my first love had made for me, tears pouring down my face because we had just broken up. Man, I can feel it like it was yesterday.
