Tolkien Metal. That was the musical creation made by this Swiss band. Black Jade seems really new name to me and I was spotted this name once I was searching for The Hobbit movie infos. Well suddenly Tolkien name appeared and Black Jade was attached to it. Shit, I was really confused and wondering what was really is Tolkien Metal? Hah, after few searching then I was quite surprised as this band willing to share their creation in form of digital format and free for downloading. Hell yeah! I cant missed the chance to get to know more about this band and their creations. Well after few listening to this album then I was very much interested to featured them in my issue #11. Hah, the response quite good and Black jade is actually one man band. Damn, I was wrong at first as I though it was a group of 4 or 5 members. Well its quite impressive as The Prophecy Of The North seems sounds like being played by few members yet it was running by one man none other Naragarth. Shit, he was so fukkin talented as all the instruments being played by him and managed to produced an outstanding musical compositions. Well Black Jade also being suported by the female vox which is Betty. Hmm.. very nice and luvly voice almost like the voice of Liv Kristine of ex-Theatre Of Tragedy. Ok, what about this digital album? Hmm.. 9 trax available which full of epic moment. Very much melancholic, symphonic and melodic music. Thick influenced of folkish elements blended by the blackish Viking musics. I think the Tolkien things maybe more to the lyricals subject and of corpse the epic touch. Hah, The Prophecy Of The North really brings you to the real journey and epic moment of the Lord Of The Rings and The Hobbit adventures.
