Watch "The Right Stuff" to begin an understanding of what it must have been like for these guys. Chuck Yeager. Scott Crossfield. Alan Bean. Neal Armstrong. Some of them went into NASA, some retired. Some eventually did both.

Tribute to the Dutch artist Herman Brood. He played a lot of Blues. The album Bluefinger is a whole tribute to Herman Brood. There is one cover of him, which inspired Black Francis to this tribute: You can't break a heart and have it. Listen to the song Angels come to comfort you, and you will know how Herman Brood ended his life.
