Yep, it's sexy....oh and the memories. I took a road trip from Arizona to Louisiana through Texas and did it all to her first three albums. Sigh, it was wonderful on the open road.

Ohhh, I see dear heckel has obviously never seen, much less, heard, a woman near orgasm, because if he (or she) would surely know the difference! k.d. does a fabulous job of this song, as she does so many, many others. The line between pleasure and pain is a very, VERY fine one. This is pleasure, personified, to my ears.

k d lang is the last person in the world that anyone should find affected. Her performance emotion and her devotion to her art are 100% genuine. Plus, she was singing at twenty-five the way other vocalists had to make fifty to manage.

Okay fair enough - I love Peggy's and Ella's versions as well. I still feel this is a very good version and she puts a different spin on it.

No, I just prefer to listen to classier performances of this song, free of the near-orgasmic moaning of this performance. This tune is about loneliness and dissapointment, and k.d.lang's vocal affectations seem quite inappropriate.

Maybe you need your ears syringing - just a thought !
