Oh, my god, I haven't heard these tracks in over a decade. I had this album on tape, and played it to death. A lot of artists liked to pretend they were "unconventional" but Bjork followed no rules, of any kind. Her later albums stunk, she seemed to have lost the thread of what she did and who she was. In a decade that provided a ill-fitted and somewhat confused backdrop that made Slip Knot and Korn stand out in a way that was momentarily shocking, and Madonna singing in Hindi was considered weeeeeerd and Wacky ( must be about druuugs) it lent the perfect backdrop for Bjork's innovation and warmth, without a hint of artifice, and this was captured in this album, like a DragonBird in amber.
