You know, I use to sing in church and to some of my friends, and to some of my girlfriends I would sing some BJ songs, and they would tell me I sounded like him. They would encourage me to do something about it. But I never did, you know why? Because BJ not only has a great voice, he was and is the real deal. When he sings his songs, especially these Christian songs, he is this person in these songs. BJ Thomas really means what he sings, and God Himself gave him the talent and the strengths he has to stay in his marriage, and to be there in many ways for all his family, and to honor God by his whole life. He is a humble man, a good man, and a strong one. I have listened to his voice for over 35 years, and I've always felt God spoke truths through such a pure sounding voice. I was always, without fail; encouraged to continue on in my life, though I had my share of troubles, when listening to his music, his songs, his messages, and of course, his voice. BJ, I doubt if we will ever meet, but I want you to know, you did it right and well by the Lord's hand upon you. I will see you in the kingdom of our Father, for we are both Christians.
