What a beautiful, heartfelt version from Mr. Harry. Bing's use of pathos in the verse is the perfect prelude to the chorus with its deft orchestration and upbeat vocalization.

What a AWESOME Crosby Brunswick side this is! I have every Brunswick 78 he recorded even the unissued "Here Is My Heart" on a test pressing! I can`t find one I do not simply LOVE! I Take that back, I do not have "How The Time Can Fly" & "Sweet Sue"!

But love is never sure if you're poor.

This is my favorite version of the song. Bing's phrasing and inflection are perfection here.

Simply beautiful. Strange...Bing Crosby and Sinatra were from my parents' generation, but I like these singers far more than my parents ever did!

This certainly belongs in Bings ten top recordings. I think 1932 was probably the peak of his vocal talents.

@11reverie11 The song itself was composed by Victor Young in 1932. Russ Columbo and Bing Crosby are the earliest notable recordings, recorded in 1932.

I didn't know about the version by Bing... Until now... However, I have 4 different versions by Lee Wiley. The one on "A Night In Manhattan" album (I'm a lucky fellow who has an original pressing of that baby) and 3 other versions I found on iTunes. My favorite song by Lee Wiley BTW.
