Kathy - your post gave me a start and I had to check the name and photo more than once. I would sing this to my own daughter Kathy until she went off to college. Now that she is old enough to be a grandmother those moments are such a sweet memory. I can never hear this song without those special times flooding back.She now lives a thousand miles away but she is still my baby girl. I am sure your Dad - wherever he is - feels the same.There is no love in this world as that of a father and daughter.

My dad and I danced to this at my wedding 15 years ago. The story is that when I was a baby., I was lulled to sleep when he sang this. He died in 2000. I miss him still.
