I was only five years old when this song became a hit record and on the "hit parade" television station in 1954. - I remember my mother use to listen to this on the radio and hit parade all the time. I think Lawrence Welk also played it on his show. She played it once in a dinner counter juke box while she Took me along with my cousin to get an Ice Cream Soda.
