@MeUDntKnw No metal was originally derived from heavy blues ish stuff. But there's so many different types of metal nowadays that it takes it's influences from everywhere. Lots of different world music. Really I don't even like the idea of genre. It's like profiling soul. Music should come from the heart and when you're following somebody's pre set genres because that's what people already listen to you're not being original and you aren't really making good music.15 years ago
