To anyone who is going through hard times in their lives right now and is considering suicide just know that thing do get better. I know it can be hard to look to the future when you are miserable but you have to keep going on. I know that when you are a teen almost your entire life revolves around school and it can be hard to feel accepted but just know that at some point in your life things will look up, even if it takes years to happen. I had horrible depression for fourteen years and only now is it looking up for me. If you can’t stay alive for yourself then do it for your family or your friends. So just remember that “suicide is a permanent solution for a temporary problem.”

I'm skate punk and this song was how I felt in high school about jocks and preppies and high school was just a popularity contest..... and through a scientific observation that there is group selection in high school... if you where not a jock or preppy in school you where an outcast...... all minorities in high school where picked on.... not just "EMO" which was just a fad anyways..not like real punk which was a mindset of questioning authority and the norms of society..the jock mentality and rich preppy assholes

Is there any advice I can give to my niece? She started high school last year but she seems to get bullied by everyone. I dunno what to tell her. I went through the same thing and I don't want her to end up like me. I have tried telling her to stand up for herself but hse is just too timid.

In school I used to be like 5'3, I used to get picked on all the time... Whether it was verbal or physical. I used to shut myself away a lot.. Now I've left school, I'm 6'3 and bigger than a lot of them. They always say hello to me when I'm at the bar and some of them even turned out to be really nice. It's so very hard but don't let them put you down while you're in school. Instead, study hard, be better than the, rise above them... You'll soon be employing them or have a better job than them.. Yeah, I know the school always say it's easy and to tell a teacher, but we know in reality it isn't.. I found activities outside of school where I could be accepted, I started airsofting, done a bit of archery etc.. Everyone there was really friendly and made me realise that I wasn't scum just because bullies made me feel that way. Stay strong, fight on. YOU WILL GO FAR, IT WILL GET BETTER.
