No knock..just an identifiable, the opening lick sounds a lot like the "Life in the Fast Lane" intro. Musically he is one of my all-time favorites. Great singer-songwriter, guitar player and performer...he can really do it all!

I respect Billy for realizing the music that made him known was basically passe at that time of this recording. He has the voice for bluesy, countrified Americana. Something in-between Tom Waits-John Prine-Billy Falcon, maybe even Nebraska-era Springsteen. He isn't alone, I understand fairly recently that Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder released an album of music far & away from Pearl Jam's style. Music business is all about gambling..if you don't take a chance, you grow stale and fade.
