I'm not a huge fan of country music but I do like several country tracks from the '90s. This track is really good and I have liked it since it was released back in '92. At 2:28 you'll see a quick shot of Kelly Kapowski. :-)

This is one of the most heartfelt, and gorgeous songs I've ever heard in my life. I first heard it when I was five years old, and this album was brand new. My parents had a copy on audio cassette, and I remember thinking wonderful it was even though I was too young to understand the lyrics very much as I was only five. :) This is just my opinion, so please take it as just my personal opinion, but as I see it Johnny Cash, Kenny Rogers, Billy Ray Cyrus, and Randy Travis, are the only country music musicians//artists who I believe are authentic to the soul of the music genre. There are probably others who would make me feel that way, but I haven't them yet. Modern country for me personally sounds empty and without emotional depth and passion compared to a song like this, "It Could've Been Me". It's amazing how 23 years after first hearing this song it still moves me. I only love country music, because of artists like Billy Ray Cyrus, and it makes me sad that he didn't produce very many albums. Thank you for reading my post. :)

R I P grandma patricia zepp. i will miss you. i put this here cause we would dance to this song all the time when i was with her. she past away tow moths ago but i just found out . because my prick of a father how would randomly show up in my life then disappear. who shows he new girl friend of the month son more love than his own tow children. told me by write me on face book saying hey did you know your grandma die then deleting his account before i could fin out any info about her passing she was the close thing too me . and am sorry i cut her off because here son forsaken me.i will miss here always. and the merioms i shared with her i will always keep in my heart. as for patrick r pearce don't ever contact me again. dont have any one contact me when you die cause i dont give a shit.,

I was a country music DJ when Billy Ray hit the industry, and Achy Breaky Heart was SO popular that people connected him to that song so strongly that they wouldn't allow him to do anything else. Either they loved the song so much that they didn't want to hear anything else, or they hated it so much they wouldn't give him a chance.
