I remember when this song came out in the 80s. I was in high school and I remember my parents asking me what I wanted for my birthday. I told them I wanted the album with the song "Baby Come Back" on it. Obviously I was talking about the album from Player. But then they bring home this album by Billy Rankin. I had never even heard of Billy Rankin. I didn't let them know it wasn't the one I wanted because I would never hurt my parents feelings. Then I listened to the album and guess what, I freaking LOVED IT! He was very underrated in the 80s. But this was actually a great album!!!9 years ago

Loved this song 29 years ago......couldn't ever find it again after this, until TODAY!! I scanned Top 40 charts high and low for years, and swore I had the title of the song correct, but didn't know the artist. It still sounds great all these years later.
