Every aspiring songwriter and keyboardist should have this on their list of pop songs to study, for the great chord progressions from a master pop pianist who actually put to use his classical piano training and made a lot more money and fame than he would have playing Mozart. I found a gem at the used book store under sheet music - the original of this tune for $1. I had been wanting to learn it anyway, so I jumped on it like a cheap suit. As is typical, he plays it differently than the music indicates, (more rhythm), but that's just cause sheet music is written by publishers for the masses, not by the artist, (often with the wrong chord symbols) and the artist version is always better. (i.e. Barry Manilow, Steely Dan, Stevie Wonder). I just wish that artist versions could be reduced to paper. If interested, check out Elton John's 'Transcribed Scores' songbook published by Hal Leonard, which is more exact than individual song sheet music or other songbooks. We need such a book for Billy Joel and a lot of other people.
