yeah Genius! had this album not long after it was released. Billy became kind of insipid in later years, but he certainly rocked out early on. LOVE this version of this tune! Thanks man :-)

this song and Philly go waaaaayyyy back; for a time he only performed it here b/c a station called wmmr was the 1st to play it while Billy was toiling away on the West Coast.

Best version of Captain Jack in my opinion. Raw power to it that just doesn't quit. Billy is the best. His band from this period was the best. Truly the tops.
