Not a fan of this album per se, but thank god he brought Dan Kortchmar in, because I've heard the Shelter Island Sessions for this album, and what ended up just being a lackluster bland album could have been an embarrassment because those Shelter Island cuts I heard were terrible....and the one song held over and kept on the album from those sessions - Shades Of Gray - is one of the worst songs on this bland album. Very mediocre way to go out IMHO for Billy.9 years ago

Hi, I am a 13 year old from Portland Oregon. 3 Months ago I didn't know who Billy Joel was. A little wile ago I was looking through my fathers old albums and I found a few of his. When I played glass houses for the first time I fell in love. Now I own every single album he has , besides river of dreams. Billy Joel has helped me over come and thrive in so many things.
