This is my absolute FAVORITE Idol album. I loved to blast this when I'd go flying around the city on my bike. Made me feel alive.

Don't be sorry! This was a hugely underappreciated album (and I still adore this track). In the early 90s the future seemed SO damned exciting...it was all virtual reality and Lawnmower Man and holodecks and raves and this thing called "the internet" that the public was just starting to notice. Then here comes Billy Idol with Cyberpunk, an album that captured that whole feeling PERFECTLY.

Apology not accepted. You NEVER have to apologize for liking great music. I don't care what the critics said. I don't care what the internet says. I don't care what anyone says. Cyberpunk is Idol's best work. It's brilliant and one album I never tire of. This song in particular is a work of art. It probably shouldn't work, but does and in a big way.

Something for +Laurie Morrison from a *very* under-rated album by Billy Idol.

Hi there!!! I remember when this came out, I knew exactly what Billy was doing with this album by the title alone. But this track got me.. "My god, it's full of Stars!!!!"... You got the 2001 reference and the ending of the Gibson novel. It's also a very positive track. Ends the album on a high note!

I have several new Blue Pearl singles that are currently looking for label releases. One is a duet with Annabella Lwin (Bow Wow Wow). We co-wrote and sang it. It's AMAZING!!! Look for "Kiss It" by us - should be out soon!

@durgadiva hi durga, i knew you sang on it but i didn't know you wrote it too. it's a killer track. have fond memories of bouncing around to 'naked in the rain' and 'can you feel the passion?' back in the day. so when are blue pearl reforming? could do with some decent dance music in the charts! lol :O)

Glad you liked it. I sang on this song and wrote it. I loved Cyberpunk too.
