@louiswyckmans HI am also a big fan of Mr. B since childhood and Cocquette is MY favorite. I found it on a 4 CD set called "I Ain't Like That". Offhand , I don't remember which website i found it on, but give me a chance to search and I will get back to you

airjori! Yes, the demographics have certainly changed things. The French actress, Denise Darcell, who loved Eckstine to death, was the cause of a lot of his difficulties with the industry and his PR folks who never wanted such an association. Viva the changes, I was one of those who cried the night Barack won.

You are so right! We lived in a crazy society back then, and still do at times. But now the demographics is changing rapidly and people of color will no longer be kept in the background.
