Biography:
After putting out three well-received EPs, playing Denmark's two biggest metal festivals, supporting Aborted and Trigger the Bloodshed and gigging abroad, Billy Boy in Poison from Copenhagen are now working on putting out our debut album, produced by Jacob Hansen (Aborted, Volbeat, Mercenary).
Our sound leans on contemporary death metal, but has inspiration from metalcore as well. The album has groovy and punishing heavy riffs, blast beats, a few atmospheric parts and the occasional progressive twist. We aim for diversity and a varied sound, but above all coherency and direction.
Formed in 2005 in Copenhagen, playing live has always been a priority for the band, and shows in Denmark, Scandinavia and the UK are just the beginning. Expect to see our album out in early 2013 and watch out for us at your local venue!
