i first heard billie when i was 15 years old.my cousin ben was doing my hair for school the next day.she said thats billie holiday there on the radio.i liked the sound i was hearing.so the next sunday night i asked her to put that station on again and on sunday nights i would listen to billie but i didnot learn of who she was until the 12th grade my english teacher gave me lady sings the blues to read and give a report on.thats when billie came in my life.12 years ago
