I met Billy in 1973 when his band played at Goshen High School. I was in 9th grade, he was in 10th grade! Even at that age, it was very clear that he had a gift from God above! We had some great jam sessions at Greycourt! Miss you Billy! RIP...

Man, bittersweet day! I discover this great blues musician on Columbus Ohio's NPR station named Bill Perry- they played this song (Pressure)--- and then find that he passed in 2007. Great singer, guitarist and songwriter. Grateful to have discovered this soulful musician and band.

I guess he had health issues, and a problem with his heart. To attend one of his shows, no one would have known. I went to many of his shows, but not enough. I listen to his music every day. His last CD has a few songs that makes me believe he knew he was on borrowed time.

i agree, i have his album Fire It Up, and he rocks ! nice blues guitar style, and very nice solo in this song. What did he die from ? it seems that great musicians such as Perry or Ray Vaughan die too early...
