One Sunday night at Prayer Meeting I had all the kids in the choir with my self in the center. As we were into the first verse I put my arms around the kids one each side of me and we started swaying with the music. When the service was over a good sister that was well into her senior years and grew up before pianos were allowed in the church caught me and the Preacher and lit in to me that she had never seen any thing so out of place and sacreligous in a House of God in her life. So I apologized and promised it would not happen again... For U young folks out there / it might shock you to know that in church business meetings a woman was not allowed to speak. Also if a male head of house missed two Sundays in a row he had to come before the head Deacon and explain his absence or face being cast out of the church... My times have changed... : o )
