I remember this video on MTV's New Video Hour which aired Mondays hosted by Carolyne Heldman. This would've been played on 120 Minutes if they didn't switch to their strict alternative format. This isn't alternative and 120 Minutes didn't only play alternative in 1986. This came out in 1987, too late for 120 Minutes. MTV should've played this more to promote it. Good music gone unknown.

Just found my copy of this I bought in 1988 (vinyl), I have no idea why I bought itother than they are all hotties and I was 16 at the time.And it still sounds really good and should have done better in the charts.A funny thing I remember from back then is I played it at 33 rpm by mistake once and it sounded good at that speed to (no record player to see if it still does)
