@djshow56 This joint was cool . But I admit I wasn't feeling the R and B Kane thing . But Kane was one of the guinea pig's who first experimented with what EPMD called "crossover" And to be honest Kane didn't quite get the mix right Biggie and Puff improved the format by cleverly getting R and B artists to sing on straight hardcore hip hop joints and when Big rhymed on straight Rand B JOINTS THE PRODUCTION by then was far advanced to what Kane used . BUT THIS JOINT IS A THUMBZ UP

Unfortunately, this album was slept on, because BGD was going the R&B hip-hop style, and at that time that was selling out. A lyricist crossing over to R&B then was a no-no. 4 yrs later Big & Puff was doing it and it was fine. Much respect to BGD for being a visionary, because what he started as his status suffered in his career in the 90's now is now in R&B rap culture.

Rakim might be the only rapper who could match the speed of Big Daddy's flow. Kool G Rap is close.

It's a damn shame this whole album got straight slept on. I bought this tape twice. Big Daddy put his weight on it...

That any MC try to be this lyrical, should go ask Smokey Robinson for a miracle!!!!!
