Early Catch 22 = Tomas Kalnoky, Tomas Kalnoky = Streetlight Manifesto. You are contradicting yourself there

Reel Big Fish has gotta be my favorite, but Less Than Jake, Goldfinger, and Save Ferris are really great too.

I would like to think they didn't get this right the first time and this is like, the 3rd time they did it. And everytime they did it they got more and more drunk. It just got more and more difficult and that's why they celebrated so much at the end. =D

It's arguable that they're no longer a ska band, but more of punk with horns, with jazz and Latin influences (example: look up La Plebe- they're more definitively punk with horns). It's a more eclectic sound than simply ska, and there's really little trace of ska in Somewhere in the Between, although the earlier releases obviously had ska. My friend, who's a ska radio show host, is a ska purist, and he made that argument, and he has a point. Although, my entire band absolutely loves Streetlight.
