yeah, i know all of that now...At the time i had no idea who kraftwerk or big black was haha. Big Black was the first real band i really obsessed over, then rapeman and of course then shellac. I loved Albini as a musician and did not know of his production and engineering prowess until the widespread use of the internet made all us music nerds experts. I used to love seeing Big Black on late night TV in the early nineties. I only got into them properly recently though, this album especially. It's beyond awesome, have to be one of the best recordings ever. This is in my top five BB songs. I was wondering though...that live show that was always being played late at night on Rage..the music was nothing like this. It was more just brilliant punk rock. I guess Big Black are not the type of outfit to confine themselves to any pigeon hole.

The red and black get-up was actually a nod to Kraftwerk, and the song "The Model". The black and white pic on the flipside was the band dressed up as Cheap Trick.

i bought the cassette and was so pissed that it wasn't on there way back in1993! He's a whore is actually the first big black song i'd ever heard! A buddy of mine somehow got a 7inch with steve and co. all dressed in red and black skinny ties just like cheap trick did on their single for the song.

this song, in my opinion, is the best sex song EVER WRITTEN! So hard to find a man these days that agrees, unless he too grew up listening to it. One of the BEST BANDS EVER!

The rating system is pointless. Who cares what anyone thinks. If you like something - enjoy, If you don't like it don't watch it. Each time I re-visit a video, I click the stupid Like button just to prove that it's just like voting ~ totally abusable and pointless. Theoretically the 35 likes (at the time I write this) could have been all the same person. So Mr. Unsanitized... why get depressed over there being no like button? Having said that... BIG BLACK RULES!
