I wonder how this song would've sounded if it had been a Clash song ?Poor old Joe, one minute he's in the best band in the world & then..................& it was all so unnecessary, it just didn't have to happen ? (Bernie Fucking Rhodes) Personally I think it broke Joe's heart & ruined his health.......

Woah... What a great song - and what a pile of poop video! Had never seen it in the 30 years since the song was released and not even John Lydon / Johnny Rotten (at 5:25) can save it..! Then again, I guess he had his own reasons for pointing a sub-machine gun at The Clash (check out that post-Lebanese unload smile at 5:28)... Joe Strummer and Paul Simonon as cops - they fought the law, then satirised it...
