The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour is the fourth concert tour by American recording artist Beyoncé Knowles. It was announced in February 2013 following Knowles' performance at the Super Bowl XLVII halftime show with initial dates for Europe and North America revealed. An advertisement to promote the tour was revealed the same day featuring Knowles dressed in royal regalia. Several posters and photos were further released by Knowles on her official website to promote the tour.
The tour's title is a reference to Knowles' marriage with Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter. Following the announcement of the title, she was criticized by music critics who regarded her as a feminist. The show was generally lauded by critics and journalists worldwide, who praised Knowles for her performance abilities. The outfits worn by Knowles during the show, for which she collaborated with several designers were discussed and received mixed reviews from critics.

Honestly, what's wrong with those people? Holding their phones up the whole time, having a conversation, barely looking at Bey at times... Bey needs to be surrounded by the people who cherish her, the hive! The REAL stans would be living in the moment, trying to reach out and touch her, they'd be screaming at her, crying, etc. these people obviously just couldn't comprehend that a queen was in front of them, and they didn't know what to do. if it were me, I'd be crying like a mad woman. sure I would take a few quick pictures just to say "yeah beyonce was RIGHT there" but then it'd be right back to the Queen. you pay all that money, you should live in the moment. especially if you're lucky enough to have her that close to you. okay rant over lol. 9 years ago
