BAG OF COBRAS LYRICS

Baby, it`s so close

Heart to heart

We won`t be torn apart

Lately, it`s so hard

Try to feel my way in the dark

Still I question, wonder why

The world is spinning round and round

Half the time I`m upside down

Nothing holds a castle to build to the ground

Yes I`m spinning round and round

Half the time I`m upside down

Forgive me if I hold onto you to touch the ground

Will I go spinning round?

Stranger days have come

Delta`s going, going gone

They`ve made a hole for the sun

Crazy, it may seem

But reality has become the dream

Still I question, wonder why

The world is spinning round and round

Half the time I`m upside down

Nothing holds a castle to build to the ground

Yes I`m spinning round and round

Half the time I`m upside down

Forgive me if I hold onto you to touch the ground

Will I go spinning round?

Changing times, changing minds

It's a patchwork quilt made of pieces that don`t fit

So excuse me if I keep falling down

A dizzy world makes dizzy plans

Made by a dizzy man

But still I question, wonder why

The world is spinning round and round

Half the time I`m upside down

Nothing holds the castle I build to the ground

Yes I`m spinning round and round

Half the time I`m upside down

Forgive me if I hold onto you to touch the ground

Will I go spinning round?

Will I go spinning round?

I go spinning round and round and round and round and round

I go spinning round and round and round and round and round

Will I go spinning round?

Been a fan of Better than Ezra since 1995. Never heard most of these songs but they remind me why I liked this band in the first place. They were so honest, raw and emotional on their first three records. Then came Extra Ordinary and they became this band that seemed to write a lot of songs with the main intention being pop radio or some shit. They still made some good songs along the way but I card less and less as the years went by because the BTE that gave us Friction Baby seemed to have turned into a completely different thing and not in a good, evolution-growth type way but a pandering, get a song on the radio type way.
