In the late 80's till mid 90's one had to be very careful with albums. Especially Beaches, some people sure walked away with it. And Grease, too.

Don't Worry I wont. I love Bettes version better too. Bette Midler is so amazing. I am a huge fan of her. And I am 20 years old.

Bette made it a classic again. The Drifters only introduced to us, and while I thought their version was the best, Bette made it the love song it was intended to be! Her version on The Tonight Show was absolutely top drawer! No one will get anywhere near her when it comes to this song...no one!

yuck! Where's that cool beat that The DRIFTERS made this song famous with. Bette killed it!
