with all three of my girls I have sang this song every night at bed time even before they were born. when ever they are hurt or crying about something I sing to them and it calms them. my oldest was visiting my mother in another state and could not sleep my mom called me and put me on speaker phone half way threw she was asleep.

i lost my sister when she was born she was still born it was mosstly the doctor my mom had fault and i dont have a dad hes an acholic so when i do seem which is 40 min. a year hes drunk can barely talk my mom played this song when we were going to see my isters grave i just balled i dont no why shes gone

When my BFF/"sister" was pregnant with her first son, I'd run in the door, grab her belly & start singing this to him; the family would laugh & she would say "um...I'm here too", but once he was born & I would sing it to him he knew it...the sound & flow of my voice. He's 14 now, but he's still "my little man" eventhough he towers over me. He may not remember this song, but it's something I cherrish.
