You want to know the truth? read the Holy Bible, every truth is written in there. Jesus had to die on the cross for all our sins, even thought He was sinless and perfect, it had to happen so that we all could have a way to God again. Jesus is the way the truth and the life. Read John 3:16 ''For God so loves the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him, shall not perish but have eternal life''

My goodness...We are so undeserving. All of us. Yet God still loves us. So much. Thank You God, for not operating on how much we deserve, but how much You love us.

As human we had rough days and sunny days. Some people say "it's life" as they pass them through. But this reminds me that because of the grace from God I'm still alive today.

@Truth128 Take this cup away from Me, nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will." Even though Jesus didn't want to die on the cross He did so anyway because He obeyed the Father's will. Regarding Judas, Jesus knew that Judas was going to betray him (see John 6:64) and Judas did so ( this was also prophesied in the Old testament see Psalm 41:9 and Zechariah 11:12) Judas hung himself AFTER Jesus was arrested and handed over to Pontius Pilate (see Matthew 27:2-10) Hope this helps.

@Truth128 Jesus had to die for the sins of all mankind...It was written in the books of the Major Prophets (Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel) ONLY Jesus Christ could do this because He was without sin. 2 Corinthians 5:21 says "For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him." The day before His crucifixion, yes Jesus did pray to the Father in the Garden of Gethsemane. Mark 14:36 says "Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. (continued)

No one knows whether it was Jesus or Judas nailed to the cross? I'm NOT a Muslim, but still doubt that crucifixion event. I really hope, it was not Jesus being crucified, God must've protected him in someways. He prayed to God sincerely one day before his crucifixion. God bless !

I'm not religious, but I believe in God and I can said that this song returned me the life in a very difficult moment. This song make me feel quiet.

The gay man Feels rejected Until he finds himself Embraced by You The drug addict Cries to you Now he sees You're all he needs ... You sit at the table with the wounded and the poor You laugh and share stories with the thief and the whore When you could just be silent and leave us here to die Still, you sent your Son for us, you are on our side!

SO beautiful and so touching! God sat with sinners, he hung out with the oppressed and rejected, he was kind to the prostitutes and all kinds of people! If he were here today, I think ... no I KNOW he'd spend his time the homeless, the rejected, the prostitutes, he'd show his love to gays, the drug addicts, she anorexic self-harmers ... the people we so often reject. That's the God I know, the God I believe in. The God of love ... He IS love. And nothing gives me greater peace :)

@taryntwilight, True... It's legalism that prevents some people from hearing the word of God and or see him at work. It takes prayer to soften their hearts to see more than what is there. Don't give up on them, pray for them.

@TarynTwilight , the Bible uses the word prostitute, which means whore. "Jesus said to them, “Truly, I say to you, the tax collectors and the prostitutes go into the kingdom of God before you. For John came to you in the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him, but the tax collectors and the prostitutes believed him. And even when you saw it, you did not afterward change your minds and believe him."

I have wanted to do this song at my church ever since I heard it. It's amazingly powerful. Unfortunately everyone I approach to do the song with me refuses because it has the word "WHORE" in it. SERIOUSLY?! You hear this beautiful song and all you can think of is "Oh no, no, this song says whore. It's taboo." Is that what God did? Thought to himself, "Oh no, no, I can't be seen with her, she's a known whore." No. I think not.
