An OK solo but definitely not the best one, think about Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Angus young, Steve Hackett, and Eddie Van Halen. Keith's solos are good but no where as good as these guys.

Hate to tell ya, that is Mick Tayler lead on Gibson, Keith played mostly rhythm, you can hear Kieth is sharp but Mick is fluid

Whats all the stuff about Taylor and Keith …..the Stones were rocking back when Taylor was icing the cake ….no point in icing without a cake ….Keith was the master baker of riffs ...luckily he had Mick's oven …..well you know what I mean ….Taylors first solo album was spawned from his time with the Stones, it was good, and showed his creative contributions (time waits for no one , aint to proud to beg, and others all have Taylors "broken hands” check it out

Sorry but Stevie Ray Vaughan makes this sound amateur, and so do many others.

Mick Taylor took the Stones to another level, they were never the same after he left.

I saw this tour in 72 in Seattle. Keith's D and G strings were out of tune.I had a hangover. It was hot and crowded. This album is way better than that concert.

I hate to tell you honey, but this is a very ordinary guitar solo - even lacking for the most part. It's just long. I prefer quality over quantity. I speak as a music manager for some of the top acts ever.

This actually sounds like keiths performance from the Rock n Roll Circus TV show. Mick Taylor wasnt with them yet.

This is great, but the uploader obviously hasn't heard Jimmy Page's No Quarter solo from 1973. Or any of his best Stairway or Since I've Been Loving You solos.

I dream that I can go up on CBGB in the day and "debut like this!" All time great solo. Man. great shit.

The bootleg album of the same tour has the otherwise unrecorded live version of Gimme Shelter on it.
