From Bernie Taupin's album "He Who Rides the Tiger". Elton John is on backing vocal, especially heard at the end of the song. The song was written by Taupin with Dennis Tufano, the guitarist. Kenny Passarelli played bass. The model Toni Russo, who also happened to be Taupins wife, appeared on the cover of the album.

This recording is from the original vinyl.

I remember listening to this when it first came out in 1980 -- great, great album. This song and Venezuela are my favorites. Forgot how good it really was.

Elton did release some great material in the early 1980s though

This is clearly better than a lot of Elton's sub-standard stuff at the time

Also surprised at Bernie's voice -- more than listenable. You can hear Elton's influence on his vocals.

I love this, and Bernie Taupin has a great voice. Sorry, since I have asked in another video with the same song, but do you know where I could find a digital copy of the song, since I can't find it on any of the music stores on the internet. I would really appreciate if you could tell me, where I could find it. Or, do I have to buy the CD. I wouldn't mind, if I do have to buy the CD. Well, thank you. And, thank you, for releasing the original version of the song, in the video.

Gone through about 6 copies since I first got it in the summer of 1980. Every track is a gem. Thanks for sharing...
