I don't know about Riverdales, but SW is definitely not a Ramones rip-off. Yes, they have a huge debt to the Ramones, but they took their music to the next level. What's my proof? I love SW, but can only listen to a few songs by the Ramones. And when SW has remade songs by the Ramones, I tend to prefer the remake to the original.
