It's too bad he doesn't maintain this sound in most of his other songs. He has a much stronger talent for these darker pieces with his haunting lyrics and dire delivery. He makes the tempo work very well in these types of songs and his meter isn't totally off like it is in his upbeat stuff, which honestly seems to just pander to the pop music half-hearts who only dabble in his music. I wish he could maintain this with his other songs.
