The Folk Music Center was Ben's maternal grandparents' music store. I think Ben owns the place now.
I've met Joel Harper, Ben's brother, when I visited the shop a few years ago, that was cool to meet such a nice guy :)
I really wanted to share this wonderful performance from Ben Harper (I emailed the Folk Music Center if I could put that online but didn't get any answer so I hope it's "ok"...).

Sorry for your loss :( I agree Ben has good music that comforts a sad heart. I lost my baby girl in august and I play Amen Omen every day like a prayer. I also lost my mother 8 yrs ago on mothers day so I know some of what you are going through. For me I have never stopped missing her and doubt I ever will,but I feel that good music helps me confront and work through feelings that I might otherwise ignore and hide from.Best wishes on your healing process, remember that her love is alive in you.12 years ago
