It's on the "Brick" single as the "ska version." Don't know if that reference is any earlier but I bought the single in high school and there it was: Brick, Smoke (Live), Kate (ska remix), Mitchell Lane.11 years ago

Agreed 100% - this song handily stands on its own without the need for bullshit studio gimmicks. Worse, it steps all over the excellent vocal harmonies during the pre-chorus.* Re: Origin - this is one of those "internet magic" things which has been in circulation since I was in college (rememeber Kazaa? Pre-Metallica Napster?). *It could also be an elaborate prank by someone with a Zeta and any mixing program, playing off the budding BF5-John Mark Painter-strings relationship of the time.11 years ago

Where did this song originally appear? An album? A single? A bonus download or something? I think it was a good decision to take the strings out of the album version, it's a little too much, but I like this version too.Related Videos
