Now, I haven't listened to much Belphegor, so I don't know how this compares to their older stuff, but This sounds really good. I'd describe it sort of as a cross between Behemoth and Amon Amarth. Its kind of melodic Blackened Death metal with excellent production and atmosphere. It's certainly much better than most of the dull, soulless "black metal" we get now days.
