Great record from Bronx' fabled J&S label. This is actually a 2nd pressing, but pretty damn rare regardless. The first pressing was on the Scatt label and is nearly imposible to find.

Like this song. (How many Belltones/Beltones groups were there ?Is this the same group that was on Hull. Don't think they are the group that recorded on Grand)

This was played fairly often and well received in the NY area by the obscure song radio DJ's from the late 60', early 70's. Very beautiful song!

At the tail end of this great tune listen to the lead just whispering "I'll always be true . . . " He repeats it twice. Just a timeless classic harmony tune.

This is a great group sound group sound from the bronx. There were heavy groups from the Bronx- Dion and the Belmonts, Aquatones, the Chimes-just to name a few. The Belltones were really good too. Long Live NY CITY doowop!

Believe this is from 1958. Not sure if this is the same group that did: Estelle & I Talk to My Echo. Their spelling is with one L. Great post. Thanks.

Somebody did a webpage on Zell Saunders. Not only did she own J&S but also Scatt,Dice,Neptune and Tuff even though Abner Spector ran it with money from Chess. On Tuff most of the girl groups were the same group with different leads.
