Belgium is really among my favourite countries in the competition. They have had so many lovely entries, like 1986, 1993, 1995, 1999, 2003, 2011 and more. I wish though they would send more of those ethno-like songs like this and Sanomi (2003). It's really their prime entries to me.

Het is mooi en stijlvol, maar uteindelijk is dit toch maar een dertien-in-een-dozijn ballade, bovendien voorzien van een nogal onnozele tekst. Ik blijf erbij dat Alane Dante dat jaar ons land had moeten vertegenwoordigen. Eigentijds en toch catchy genoeg. Los daarvan: we werden met dit nummer 12de. We hebben het ooit (zeg maar vaak) slechter gedaan.

In my opinion, one of the best songs in ESC ever. I cannot undestand why it didn't win that and why it has not been more succesful. Wonderful song a wonderful performance.

Amazing song, should have won. I was 12 years old but I totally ADORED it! Okay, the lyrics aren't amazing, but it has it all!!

@TRYamarus srry but i have to give diederoo his right. it is common knowledge that the east European countries always vote for their neighbors. and Germany isn't a eastern European country but a central/northern European country.
