I'm sorry but, it has to do a lot with mariachis. First af all, Zack grew up in Santa Fe, where he was exposed to mariachi music. Second, this is a song form "March of the Zapotec", which he composed during his trip to Oxaca, México -and in the recordings he is actually backed up by the mexican winds band "The Jimenez Band"... regards.
