anyone else think this song is a bit of an enigma among levellers songs? Im not saying I dont like it, its a cool song, but its not the sort of thing you'd expect to find on a levs album

Levellers' first love song. Initially I was like "Yeah, it's all right". Like any good song, it grew on me. Now I absolutely love it. They should do more songs with banjo in them. Forgotten Ground is the only really banjo-ey one (awsom, btw). :D

This song's an amazing achievement for the Levellers... It's a very good pop-ish love song, but still being recognisably Levellers, unlike the kind of slightly disappointing stuff on Hello Pig

I saw an interview with Jez where he said he wrote all the lyrics and sent the band off to write the music. Maybe that's what he meant by not having much to do with the "writing"?
