Beethoven's Op. 27 No. 2 Moonlight Sonata 1st movement - Adagio sostenuto played on a Casio Privia PX-110.

I think the Privia piano sound is a little "unnatural" (in the sense of artificially made) compared to a Yamaha P-70. Its action, however, is slightly better, but there's the drawback that the keys "clomping" is very audible on the Privia.

Definitely the Yamaha better acomplishes the purpose of being a digital piano, but since purchasing a Privia is way cheaper...

This video was the second time I recorded the Moonlight and it's a little better, I guess.

Hey, I'm 61 and started playing (for real) about two years ago after seeing a video of Eubie Blake playing "The Charleston Rag" ... at age 98!! You've got plenty of time, and you can get a digital piano like this one for a few hundred bucks ... save your money, get that piano, learn to play!! It'll be the best thing you ever did for yourself. I play nothing but Scott Joplin: "The Entertainer", "A Breeze From Alabama", "Euphonic Sounds", and if I can do it, so can you!! Go for it!

Thanks! I actually sold this Casio and kept my Yamaha P-70. But I think it's best if you try both before buying, if you can.

I'd go to craigslist if you have to. While there is no substitute for a good teacher, the internet is one hell of a resource and you can still learn. I'm 18 and just beginning myself.

Thanks! But hey, don't give up, it's never late to learn anything. If you can't afford a piano you could try looking for some community lessons or something like that, no? Remember, it's never late =)

Lovely. I wish I could afford a piano so bad. I know I can't, but I still find myself staring at piano's online that are so far out of my price range, its depressing... All I ever wanted to do was learn how to play piano. :'( But know I know, being 17, ill never get that chance...Im sure It would have happened by now.

@casioPX500L Kawai CA13 seems like a good choice. I wish I could try more Kawai's but the only one I tried so far (Kawai CN21) was very interesting. Good luck on your purchases =)
