I feel like its a waste of time to argue over genre, you can split hairs (break it down as much as possible) and you still wont fully grasp each and every sub-genre, not to mention specific other-genre influences. Who cares if it is indie with raggae influences,Or raggae with indie influences. "Call it what you will, call it all punk rock" it doesn't matter the genre just enjoy it.

You should try Subb, they're a ska punk/ska-core band from Montreal. You should also check out POD, they're more metal, but it's still a cool fusion with reggae
