It's amazing, Mellow Gold remains Beck's magnum opus (along with the songs he recorded at that time, e.g. Fume, Totally Confused, MTV Makes Me Wanna Smoke Crack, Corvette Bummer, etc.) what an immense talent he had for songwriting at such a young age, he still is yet to top that era and it's unlikely he ever will.10 years ago
