Ahhh....but my friend The Oldskier -- Entwistle could play horns!! (In reality, they are both excellent musicians as you stated -- but I just felt I needed to throw something on the table on John's behalf that would counter Bogert's superior vocals). I loved Entwhistle's horns in The Who and on some of his early solo albums.

hmm, yep, would have been the same level of wildman on drums but would have broken up the team of Bogert and Appice....their bass players were comparable too...Entwistle and Bogert...now there's a comparison of equals. Tim is the better singer though....

I got to see BBA in NYC at the Felt Forum with Wet Willie 1973,amazing.The band had the reputation live that it was either hit or miss with the long jams but they were blazing that night.
